No idle and high idle problem

To the ones who have had their wiring harnesses replaced by Yamaha; did they cover only the cost of the harness or the labor involved as well? I've been fighting these issues with my bike for a couple of years but it has recently gotten worse.

    Hello and help

If you're looking for speed alone, I'd say you're better off with the S1k. This bike is by no means as fast as the current super bike leaders, but it does provide you with a lot of usable power. I will keep it short, as I'm sure my cohorts will give you more responses; this bike is a work horse...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I've been busy these past few months and have neglected posting, so now's my chance to update on the mod list. First, I finally got around to upgrading my wind protection after a long and gusty ride from Phoenix to LA with a headwind. I got the factory larger windscreen and added the side...

    2014 ES

I'm curious about the headlight and windshield assembly. Are the mounting points for the windshield the same distance apart as the previous version? What I'm getting at is if the new adjustable mounting bracket can be used with the older model bike. My only other concern would be if the console...

    Agv Website Showcases Super T!

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before, but it's new to me. I just purchased an AGV AX-8 DS Evo and noticed that the US website features the Super Tenere as the bike for their dual sport helmet! http://www.agv.com/us/ Not ground breaking, just found it interesting.

    Fontana, CA S10 rider

Welcome Rob! Glad to see another Tenere added to the area. Im a few miles away near L.A. An area I enjoy exploring would have to be Cleghorn off the 15. I could spend all day riding around the trails above Silverwood lake.

Victorville/Barstow area and maybe Big Bear

I went for a ride up the 2 to the 138, then up the back side of cleghorn to the 15 at about 2pm. I saw this post once I got back, how funny would it have been to run into another tenere on the trail! Next time you're in the mood for a ride, hit me up! I'm local, just 20 minutes north of Anaheim.

    average age bying the ST

Well I might just bring the average age down a bit. I was 22 when I rolled her out of the dealership. I've always been told that I have an old soul; turns out that my taste in bikes is mature as well.

The cheapest cruise control...................in the world!

Gotta love the thread title, I read that last part in the voice of Jeremy Clarkson! I too was thinking about picking up a cruise control recently. After stumbling across this thread I recalled that my dad used the very same o-ring with great success on his bikes. Each lasted him a good 8 to 10...

Lol, I just noticed that too. Maybe they had scheduled a beemer to join them, but the support trucks it needs couldn't fit down some of the trails ;)
