Just breaking in my 2015 ST and trying to find some dirt/fire roads to practice offroading on. I'll be waiting a few weeks until I have my Rumbux set on and hit 1000 miles but would appreciate any tips people had on some good off reading opportunities for the ST. Thanks in advance!

Its been about 20 years since I lived there but I remember a fire road that I picked up at the top of Reseda Blvd (south/west) that would take you to Topanga Canyon. Very mild road that took you by an old Nike Radar Tower…
I used to see a bunch of dirt roads off of Mulholland West….

I know of a few in the San Bernardino area, I live closer to Pasadena if you're looking for someone to ride with.
A riding buddy would be great. I'm still learning on the ST and have 0 off road experience, but eager to change that. Should have crash bars and a skid plate installed by mid april once I get my Rumbux set in. You might want to look into Rawhyde. They offer big dirty bike training, and while I haven't taken their class, I find that organized training helps a great deal when learning or practicing a skill set.
