Thanks for the address. I DID pack the order sheet and the check with the saddle, but wanted to send another when I send the pics.

Brian, great meeting you too, it was good to see another Tenere at the farm.

I did get a pic of your bike:
Mellow and Bald Eagle - bummer we missed you (at least I did) at Moonshine! Me and ValpoFZ rode down together and ended up meeting up with Mbabc, keeponriding, and hannabone. It was great to see some other Tenerarians there! ::003::

Sorry we didnt have a chance to meet up and find you. I am guessing you guys played in the rain as well? ::26::

I had a 600 mile day that day to start heading back so going to the actual lunch event would have delayed my departure 'til 1pm at the earliest so I needed to hit the road. I made that mistake one year and didn't get to my campground in Eureka Springs, AR 'til just after midnight... riding in Southern MO / Northern AR at night is an interesting exercise in puckerostomy of the seataroostomy... This time around I just arrived at my campground near Russellville, AR just as it was starting to get dark so it worked out. I did have a lot of rain to go through in IL.. I don't think it stopped raining 'til MO.. and then it was very windy... I was fighting at least 30mph side winds and was in a back road 2-lane road w/no traffic right near the center stripe when what had to be a 50mph gust caught me and pushed me all the way over on the shoulder of my lane.. That was an interesting item.... lol... it's one thing when you get caught by surprise.. another when you're prepared for it, expecting it... and it still does that...

You know what they say 'what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger'..... of course, they never tell you the 2nd half of that, 'what kills you really sux'.. LOL

Sorry I didn't get to meet you there. I arrived early Thurs. afternoon for all the lead-up activities and got to Moonshine by 9:30AM Sat. for a breakfast Moonburger (after cinnamon buns at the Comfort Inn of course). I was standing in the ever-increasing rain getting wet and cold when I decided, if I was going to be out in the rain, I might as well be riding with heated grips and liner. So, by 10:45 I was on the road for home 735 miles away.

I gotta say I am loving my seat more and more each day. No fatigue at all and no soreness. I just called Tammy to confirm my pax seat arrived which it did.

Just spoke with Tammy today and Rock extended the group buy until May 15, 2012 so if anyone wants in say the word. She also said if you’re doing a ride in after May 15th just make sure you get a deposit in to them before the 15th. BMS was just recognized by Ron Ayers as the only seat he will use on any of his bikes pretty good endorsement.

Got it ysterday, put it on and rode 150 today. Great seat, vast improvement over stock configuration. Griptex vinyl does not slip definately! Need to get a pair of good riding pants though, make some room in the "junk" area, jeans stay glued to seat as I slip forward in them from stopping force, binding me up a bit. It is not the seat causing this anymore from the slope though. Or a good pair of Klim riding undergarment to "manage" the junk sitiuation. Will need to get some Rox risers and adjust the Cal Sci windshield back up to make all just right. The seat does raise me a bit. Its all good though. ::008::

They are looking good Damon man that pax seat looks really comfy and a good backrest for you maybe. My pax should be coming back this week.

[quote We have our seats back! They are looking super awesome. My wife and I will be doing a 3 day ride this weekend so we will give a report next week.

D Money -I like the back rest and the overall look. Did you request the back seat be built up super high or is was that just artistic freedom on the part of BMS. I ask b/c mine's on the way back to me UPS from BMS and I said I like the idea of the back rest. I'm hoping they look like yours. No more Monkey Arse for you my friend! Enjoy the weekend and thanks for the post.

Hey Jack I've noticed other pax seats coming back like D-Moneys. Rods is like that and so is Mad Dogs. I wanted the same kind of finish but I think that is how Adrian forms them anyway.

My buddy (BMW K1600 GTL) and I have ride in appointments tomorrow. Leave in an hour with our SO's and going to spend a couple of days in Santa Barbara.
The ride back should be much more comfortable!

Yep, mine came back very similar - but perhaps not quite as high a step - which might depend on the height of the pillion. Hard to tell from the picture.
