    Has Anyone Else Noticed?

I think its because its been summer and the bike hasn't had enough time to stand and let the battery drain at all.... ::001::

Yamaha UK to stop selling new Tenere's

I must admit though, I don't mind the fact that the S10 is "rarer" than the GS army (as long as Yamaha stay profitable of course). Appreciate the KTMs aren't as widespread but I'm quite happy with not seeing another S10 on every corner. ::022::

Yamaha UK to stop selling new Tenere's

I appreciate its all relative, but I was comparing the price of an S10 in Thailand while I was on holiday. At an average exchange rate its over £18k!! So I think pricing is a problem but if you think about how much technology and engineering you get for your money these days compared to a little...

Tyres (or Tires if you prefer...)

FireFight911 Hope these give a better indication. Must admit I'd do the same as you are planning to do. If you know you have a lot of off road... you fit appropriate tyres, for more on road... hope these do the trick. Good luck with your trip. Look forward to some pics and news ::001::

Tyres (or Tires if you prefer...)

Just back from having a new set of Michelin Anakee III tyres fitted. I'm fairly gentle on tyres I guess, as I was on 10,000 miles on the original Bridgestone's, and of course I've now only done 40 miles on the new ones but there were 2 things immediately noticeable. 1) the road/wind noise is...

Have you had the hard start problem?

EricV - thanks for the advice. I must admit i hadn't tried WOT or even thought of removing the fuse. As some of the other guys have mentioned I suspect the reason this is a fairly high % of people experiencing the problem is because I only really looked into it on the forum after it had...

Have you had the hard start problem?

My bike and I have also just got back from the dealer, but they had to collect the bike though..... I had also left it garaged for 2 and a half months with Wyns's fuel treatment in a full tank. I knew when I got back that the battery would be low so I put it on the Optimate charger for a good...

    Anyone from Devon or Cornwall

Hi I'm from NW London area so meeting up somewhere in the SW is good for me on weekends. Maybe in the new year? Also happy to meet up north but will need to be for more than just a day trip. Cheers and Happy New Year. Craig

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Joined a friend and some KTM guys doing a bit of trail riding. Was a bit of a disaster as it was very wet and muddy and I still have my original 'road' tyres on. Wasn't very cleaver! Dropped it twice!! :( (only slow speed drops as the front wheel lost grip but very sad!)

    Tenere Exhibition Tent

I like the idea of these sort of tents but do worry about the bike falling over during the night. I find that when I stop I have to find a suitable spot to park the bike THEN get the tent up. Its seldom I don't have to think about the soft or uneven ground? ::)

    A few Oil FILTER Questions...

I doubt there is technically much difference between the oil filters but for the difference of a few quid I'd rather be comfortable that should anything happen there could be no quible. On the oil front my dealer (in the UK) was happy to put an oil other than yamlube in at its service. He also...

    Pannier Opinions, please

To me the OEM panniers themselves are fine. Quality look and feel seems quite good. They are nicely finished off inside and you can get the OEM liners/bags to fit each. They are also a lot cheaper than say the Touratech. What is the biggest let down to me (and I can honestly say its the only...

    Fitting Comms

Hi guys Im wanting to fit my Autocom to S10, and think the most obvious place to put it is under the seat. Problem is the wiring is all so neatly threaded through the bike that I'm not sure where the best place is to take the power from? I'd like it to be switched to the ignition ideally. Has...
