Took an outstanding ride today again in the San Bernardino Mountains. Took 138 east off of Int.15 towards Lake Silverwood. Hit a few dirt roads along the way. On one water crossing I got mired up to the brake discs. Pain in the you know what pulling that beast out. Most of the trails in the mountains where I was at would take some serious skill on a big bike like the Tenere. More for a lighter enduro. I didn't go onto the hard areas. Not alone at least, too isolated. No Spot or anything on me. The tires left me wishing I had at least a set of Karoos or K60 on. Got home and gave the bike a bath. Lots of fun though! The creek in the photo was not where I became mired, that creek was only about 4" deep, just some sand. I was on my way to see the "Mormon Rocks" a huge exposed bunch of sand stone boulders not far off of the 15 freeway. Basically I was on top of the San Andreus Fault. The creek in photo was just a scene by 2N37, a road I will explore when I get someone along,
