Good call. Fortunately, I tested it in my driveway, blew the sissy fuse, replaced it and went direct as you stated in your post. Next big ride is another adventure ride in September. Over night'er, camping, and good off-roading.
I have a 2014 es and had the same leak problem when I hit the long triple at the local mx track and fell short......

Glad you posted this thread. I'm still fiddling with mine, trying to figure out what works best for the riding conditions/variables of each ride. I wish there was a "rule of thumb" guide somewhere.
I ordered the Altrider skid plate for my ES model. I can tell you it will work with "Modifications". I have an email from Altrider stating that the 2014 is still in "development". Thank god I had a good friend help me out with it.

Soooooooooo... I did it. I rode to the end of Estrella parkway like I've done on several occasions. Today.... I decided go into "uncharted territory" (for me)and take the tenere off-road. I adjusted suspension, set to T mode and traction 1. I stood up, and slowly let the clutch out at the same...
I love the "search" feature! After reading and seeing pics (thanks old blue), I'm ordering some tomorrow! From what I have read, 45lbs seems to be the magic number on torque.
