BUSY DAY!!!

Added the ADVMonster amber lenses to my model 60 LED lights and then hooked up the ADVMonster dimmer so I can run them about 50% during the day or off if I want but still hooked to the high beam so they are 100% when the high beam is on:

Driving lights and dimmer about 50%

Driving lights and dimmer at 100%

High Beams

Then, the FedEx truck showed up with my Laam Seat - very nice work, Seth advised to give the asphalt material a try as it was close to the oem stuff and not as hard and slippery as the basketweave material.

Also, switched out the trekker cases for Bumot 36L/40L boxes and got rid of the givi top box:

Then added some reflective stripes to them to break up the look a little.

Took her up to dealer for a late 600 mile service (oil + final drive), even though I'm almost at 1K. Now seems to run perceptibly smoother, if that's even possible!

Then, this evening, did a July joy-run up to Bethel CT to grab a 'Dagwood' burger and home-made root beer at the venerable Sycamore Drive-in. It was oldies car night, so plenty of vintage metal to ogle at...

That seat looks really nice!

Joe, I thought you were gung-ho on the Givi boxes-- why the change?

The Givis were fine, I just wanted them to fit tighter to the bike.

Made an appointment at the dealer for a valve check/adjustment. A little overdue, but I was somewhere in the Yukon or BC when I turned over 78k. I should wash the bike today, (first time ever), but it's already 90F at 10 am.
