I have attached a picture of my exhaust pipes.

You will note that the right cyl pipe is very blue compared to the left cyl pipe which i not blue at all.

I am concerned that the right cyl is running A LOT leaner (hotter) than the left cyl.

What are you seeing on your '14........does one side seem to be running hotter that the other...one pipe blue and the other not??

This blueing happened right away....within the first 300-400 miles.

I have over 2000 miles now and the bike seems to be runing OK...of course I don't have anybody to compare to as this is the only 2014 S10 in the area.

All input is appreciated.

The pipes on my '14 seem to be bluing evenly, but on my 2012 they were a little more uneven. By the time the bike had 15k miles on it, they looked more evenly matched. I don't know if I'd worry about it that much, but hopefully someone who's a little more tech savvy can chime in and tell you if it has anything to do with lean running or maybe throttle bodies out of synch or some such thing.

Mine looks the same as yours, uneven coloring, the bike runs great though!
I have noticed the same on other new bikes I'v had and not taken any action.

As the left pipe ( non bluening ) always are dirtier I have assumed that it is more exposed
for air, water, dust etc. and keeps cooler by that reason..?

Hey, you didn't wind up with purple finger prints all over the place, you did good. Ask the shop to check the balance/sync at your first service.
