I replaced the fuse with low amp fuse (purple). My setup is straight to the battery for compressor use.

Good call. Fortunately, I tested it in my driveway, blew the sissy fuse, replaced it and went direct as you stated in your post. Next big ride is another adventure ride in September. Over night'er, camping, and good off-roading.

I have a 2014 es and had the same leak problem when I hit the long triple at the local mx track and fell short...... J/k......... No leaks after the jump......

Glad you posted this thread. I'm still fiddling with mine, trying to figure out what works best for the riding conditions/variables of each ride. I wish there was a "rule of thumb" guide somewhere.

Altrider skid plate. Givi crash bars.

I ordered the Altrider skid plate for my ES model. I can tell you it will work with "Modifications". I have an email from Altrider stating that the 2014 is still in "development". Thank god I had a good friend help me out with it.
