Mounted the RAM Mounts for the GPS and iPhone. Took a quick trip to Penn Yan to see the grandkids. Rode home in the rain. Also tried out the new jacket, Tourmaster intake air. Nice jacket. Next week the Alt Rider protection bars are coming!

Lubricated the ignition and gas tank locks with Nano Pro-MT dry lube. Sooo much smoother and easier to operate now! I would say this is another "must do" lubrication item for any new S-10.

I mounted up a Zumo 665LM and my Escort 9500ix on farkle bar mounts last night, and today I had a nice ride out to 'True Grip' Mark's place where I picked up and mounted my new-to-me Zega Pro's. Mark is a super cool cat; he did most of the work mounting up the case racks, and even let me ride his flashed S10. We should have taken a picture for the forums, as our bikes look like siblings- both black 12's with the same sticker kit, with mine yellow and his black and white.

After 74 days without riding I decided the shoulder felt good enough to end the PMS. Just 50 miles, but the best 50 in two months! Will do another short ride today.

I put mine on a trailer for only the second time, as we are in the process of moving from Phoenix to Vegas. Had both the ST and the ATV, and they are currently safely tucked away in a friends garage, until we finish up the move later this week!

Moving - What a pain.
I always feel like moving stops everything else in life for most of a year.

I continued my battle against noise and turbulence today by installing my newly-purchased PowerBronze short sport screen. I haven't ridden it yet, but I am hopeful.

Collapse your mirrors to see how much noise disappears.

I tried removing them a while back, made no difference.

I installed a Two Bros. slip on last night, and the ezhaust flow from the turn-down outlet is exactly bisected by the lower cross brace on the Zega rack. I wouldn't really care, but it's less than an inch away, so it just looks cob-jobish. I removed the turn-down and it looks better. Also, it's really loud. I don't really mind that much, but it's not really in keeping with the LD touring thing; I'm not sure I want to listen to it for 16 hour days. I ordered a difffuser insetf for it today that is supposed to knock off 7-8db which is pretty significant' We'll see.

I have the same shield. No buffeting, but also no protection. :D
