Wife (on her Harley), and I just finished a two day 500 mile trip. We rode only the windiest secondary roads we could find. That finished off the stock EXP tires (9200 miles), and today put on a pair of K60's.

Installed Eastern Beaver 3CS and hooked up my GPS

Installed my ECU that I just got back from being re-flashed

Straight swapped my ASV brake lever from my FZ1

Found out it's not a straight swap for the clutch lever. Now wondering if I can buy the part to convert it or if I need to buy a whole new lever.

Mounted front Mitas E-07 but haven't set the bead yet.

Time for a break.

Congrats flyby...pics

I ordered my first set of Mitas E-07's so we will see how they work...Greg the pole is in big trouble if they stink... :D

They will be here next week...if only I had time to ride recreationally and not just parts runs for the Airstream :'(

That is one sweet looking saddle. My buddy and I rode up to see Seth a little over a year ago to get a seat for his Triumph Tiger 1050. I am just getting back on the bike after having carpal tunnel release on both hands. Will be putting away some cash to get mine done

Got a new seat from Laam Custom in on Saturday. Managed to dodge rain showers on Sunday for 200 miles. Really like this seat and the craftsmanship is first rate.

Just installed the 2014 grill on my 2012, looks better for sure with it. Also trying out some grip buddies. So far so good, helps with a little extra padding and less vibration

Rear tire, re-torque spokes, adjust steering head bearings, oil change.

Ready to go, Wednesday the 20th early AM departure. Black Hills, Big Horns, Beartooth. Bonneville Salt Flats.......

My favorite kind of trip. I need to be in Wendover by noonish Sunday to help a buddy get his pit set up. I want to be less than 300 miles from home by the evening of Sunday the 31st. No agenda, no route. Butler maps, a GPS and lots of time.

Did some shopping at Yamaha Sports Plaza. New '14 CCT with gasket and the bolts are on the way. K
I also threw in a complete set of clutch plates, as mine are at the very end of their life.

Took 80 or so miles of backroads to Bridgewater/Roxbury CT, and stumbled upon one of the prettiest roads I've ever seen: Town Line Road, home of Grey Ledge Farm (http://bit.ly/1Btfijx). I give the ride a (Super)Ten.

That's an interesting comment. How many miles? Slipping?

36500km.
Not really slipping. I feel my shifts are very hard, and the clutch play is restricted to only few millimeters. I lost the modulability completely.
It's entirely my fault. Pulling wheelies out of hairpins in 2nd, requires some brute force.

Just a thought, but have you given it a good flush & bleed? Lever travel really shouldn't be impacted by worn friction plates. You may have simply cooked the fluid.

Could be also, but I did it already, and tomorrow it's gonna be done again, because I'm replacing the rusty banjos on every line. The guy who did the job the first time, installed some low grade inox, and now he'll change everything again, oil included. We'll see.
My bike also has excessive 1st gear drag compared to others.
When the gear is engaged, while on center stand, the wheel is spinning at +10mph. Boo..

This bike is the only one I have had difficulty bleeding the clutch on. A stubborn bubble at the slave cylinder just wouldn't come out with vacuum or pressure. I had to use the old trick of tying the lever to the bars and letting it sit that way over night. Was fine after that.

But your symptoms do sound like air in the system more than worn disks. The tiny reservoir doesn't make bleeding any easier.

Except that you're talking about the clutch. You can't cook the DOT fluid in a clutch ::)

(unless you just mean it might be old and dirty, but cooked, no.)

Took it for its first service and to diagnose my suspension light being on ???. Hope its nothing serious and i get it back quickly. I do plan to do my own oil changes but figured id let the dealer do the first.

Also bought a new jacket at the dealer. Firstgear mesh jacket. Ive never been one for the atgatt but im feeling older and wiser and am leaning more towards it. But wasnt willing to sell the left nut just yet for a fancy jacket. We'll see how it goes.

my son and I drove up to Bixby MO. to join some ADV riders on the SMART ride, I rode 140 miles on dirtroads, forest roads, old logging trails and ATV roads. did 11 river crossings. stalled it out in the river, plowed into a pile of sand/P gravel and dug it out myself, took a wrong turn and dropped it in the mud , only to drop it again 20 yards later in another mud hole.lifted it back up both times by myself, when I finally found hiway 106 I bolted to VanBurean to join back up with my son and riders.
