Got tired of seeing the Arrow catless header sitting on the shelf in my garage, so I installed it last night. NO instructions were supplied, but the installation is pretty straight forward. I think the most time-consuming part of the install was disconnecting the O2 sensor wires and pulling them free of the harness. The only other thing of note was having to cut the protective rubber sleeves off of two the springs on the headers, because there is no way to route them without touching the pipes.
Rode to work this morning and felt a definite increase in power and torque. Sixth gear felt like less of an overdrive after I had the ECU flashed. That effect is even more pronounced now...and that's with the stock silencer! The power pulses are more pronounced at the handle bars now, but it's not uncomfortable and doesn't produce any numbness. I plan to install the PCV and O2 optimizer tomorrow. I've already preloaded a kickass custom map that was dyno tuned using the same ECU flash I have (Diapason). I have an Auto tune module on hand, but doubt I will use it.
