Hmmmm, since we all got ours at Roseville Yamaha and we all got our plates today, I wonder if they are sequential?

I did my 600 mile service at 609 miles, installed my Cal Sci large shield and my Hepco Becker racks. Just waiting for my Pelican 36 liter bags to come tomorrow.

I installed my Fuzeblock, wired a few things, and got a start on installing the AltRider crash bars. But I was struggling; I think I need a second set of hands, and it's 1:30am. Time to stop before I damage something.

I borrowed a pair of Givi E-41 bags from a good friend and installed them on my SWMotech racks.
They are 41" wide when mounted. I think they measure 43" installed on the owners V-Strom.
I'll use these for an upcoming trip, still havent decided what hard bags I'll buy

I pulled the rear exhaust covers off and proceeded to drill holes like a mofo. Got a bit better sound but need to find someone with a plasma cutter to clean it up and take a bigger piece out. Not looking to wake the neighbors but I do want to uncork some of the sound.

Rode the ole girl down to Dahlonega and turned the bike over to Charlie at Parabellum Windscreens to fab up a touring screen. It will sit there over the weekend. Meanwhile Charliesloaned me a Kawi W650 for the weekend. Miss the S10 already.

Today I decided to burn my post office but they did find the "paket" from Germany I was told during a week they did not have (even with the tracking from DHL as a proof of their *censored*). Since my killer instinct were not satisfied, I've tortured my bike (well in fact I've installed the alurack from Hepco & Becker but that's a torture... on the grease monkey scale from one to ten, my rating is minus one...)

First : open the parcel on the bike's seat with a leatherman (try no to avoid scratching the paint, it's meant to be scratched)

Second : use your buell tool kit : any US allen key on metrics screws will fit, take off the old piece and dispose of it somewhere in the garage (who cares ?)

Three : use the wrong screws to assemble the alurack, do not try to use any washer (they put that on the pictures just to disturb you)

Four : Do not use the designated emplacement to put the bolts (you can chose a more suitable place by yourself)

Five : call a friend, make sure he does everything right and take some pictures of YOUR AWESOME work !

Man! Some times I'm so proud of myself! ::013::

(no bike have been hurt during the filming of this fiction)

Added button and garage door opener... might move it to the box under the seat for we'll see how this works out.

... also added powerlet on the other side. Might actually cut into the panel like Katherine did but on the right side. I like this location as I can use it for heated gear and the cord won't scratch the tank or panel but we'll see.

Added the fender extender from Pyramid. Used black abs glue from Lowes. Seems to work ok. Hint, you must remove all the paint on fender for the glue to work. There was a post that the extender was not abs, but it does melt with the glue.

Another hint, if you use the Pyramid extender you may want to remove the lip at the bottom. I also painted to match the flat black.

Today was a busy day. ::025:: Cleaned bike and put a coat of wax on. Also added the horn from PepBoys.
Not a hard job, just relocated and used the same OEM horn wires. Used a fender washer on the abs panel.
