Fred, need to know, is your bike blue or black. I have tried throttle only wheelie several times with tcs off in sport mode no go, even with some serious pull back. I have done few heavy throttle with clutch wheelies.

Well, today was a good day!!!!

A box with my Twisted Throttle Bags Connection "City" bag showed up along with the electrification kit. Bars and Engine Guard are on back order so I'll have to wait for them!

Another box with a bunch of Touratech stuff also arrived! Let's see;

Windshield bracket with GPS mount
PivotPegz
Rear Rapid Trap top case carrier
Under carrier storage bag

I already have my fuse block and relay set up as I am transferring it over from my previous bikes. Same with my Zumo 550 and GXM-30.

This along with my XM antenna mount bracket and tire pressure monitor that showed up last week from CycleNutz should make for a fun afternoon of farkling tomorrow!!!!!! ::018::

I'd need 4 mechanics and 3 months to do all that. Good luck with it. R

Did you have good luck with the Yamabits? Ive written them twice with no response ?
I will let you know. I just placed the order yesterday mid-day. I got a response saying as soon as the item shipped they would send me tracking info. I think others have ordered from than and had no hassles.

it is blue, of course. They put an anti wheelie control in the black bikes, as they knew only old slow guys would buy them. ;)

There is a spot on the country lane very close to where I live that is just past a stop sign, so I am always in 1st gear. As I acceerate toward my house, it has a slight drop off and that has always been my favorite wheelie spot, as it is the perfect way to end a good ride. The slight drop off helps to get the front up, but I also chop the throttle and then open it briskly. Has worked with every bike I have owned except for when I had a 2004 GL1800 Gold Wing.

As I get more miles on it, I'll try it on a perfectly flat spot, but with the way it came up with a snarl, I think it should be no problem.

Okay, here's the deal. Yukon Yamaha got two extra Teneri in last week. One of them is blue. It's the first blue on I have seen up close and person with my own eyeballs. And I gotta tell you, it wasn't as bad as I thought. The wave of nausea that passed over me was much more brief than I thought it would be, and I was able to look at it for several seconds before turning away.

At least we black bike riders don't go around making derogatory remarks about that blue piece of crap. Nossir. You won't catch us doing that. Gag puke We have more class. R

Relax Rem. The Blue Boys mis-ordered and have to pump themselves up all the time.

I put a Battery Tender quick disconnect on in order to charge the battery easily. I also put on a Calsci shorty tinted screen.

I now plan on changing the engine and gear oil since I just hit 600 miles. After that, I may install the Givi rear racks.

I wouldn't think you'd need to change the engine at this early date, but to each his own.

Aw, maaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn ... still got it. R

GOOD ONE, MY MAN !!!!!! I wasn't going to say anything ... you know ... since I'm so polite and everything. I completely understand. Probably should have changed it out at 300 miles. I think Rod did. R
