I'm the opposite, when I see this bikes with all the cases and luggage I think: this is a trully adventure bike, this guy must be in a world tour....
But then I can't go to my loved little tracks.

The latest modifications made to do a new development and therefore have slightly delayed the skid plate. Also the summer in Spain makes everything go slower but they said the second prototype is nearly ready to test and production must be ready for September. Hope so… ::)

Just a cosmetic facelift.
Summer in Spain is too hot to ride so while I’m waiting some rain and coolest days every year I do a full bike cleaning and polishing.
Then I decided to do something I had always wanted to do: paint the subframe, pillion pegs, luggage space, etc. in black.
Also I’m planning a new grid to the ventilator area… so, we’ll see how it finishes all. ???

I've found lot of dirt in the ABS box, I would like to find a way to try to avoid the mud in this place... The GSA was the same, lot of electric parts under the seat where all the mud comes from the rear wheel  ::005::

I’m trying installing an aluminium grill in the radiator air intake to avoid leaves and dirt. Once I did it I was ready to use the same grill to the rest of holes… I don’t know yet if I’m going to paint it black or leave with its natural colour.

Nice mod. The mesh I would think will also strengthen that side from possible punctures to radiator. Nice quality clean look!

I don't know. Is an alluminium mesh, so I don't know if is strong enough, I think is more esthetic tan a real protection... but I like it better than the OEM plastic one. ;D

Re: Super Ténéré 1200 OFF ROAD preparations and experiences thread.

I've just finished the improved rear mud guard. After looking several options I ended putting a rigid plastic filling the gap between the sub frame and the OEM mud guard. I hope it works.
Some pics

Re: Super Ténéré 1200 OFF ROAD preparations and experiences thread.

I finished my improved (hope) mudguard with some waterproof connectors for the rear lights.
The two (annoying) boxes are for the blinkers and they are fixed with a very strong velcro.
