Dirt_Dad,

I'm sure it's in here somewhere but what's the story on the charitable donation? I seem to remember checks better than cash or possibly send it early?

The donation is the important thing and want that to be right!

Terrysig & all -

Donations this year are going to:

http://www.potomaccenter.com
and on FB as: https://www.facebook.com/Potomac-Center-Inc-847957888601025/?ref=bookmarks

Potomac Center itself, Romney Cycle Center, Dirt Dad, or I could hold checks for you. We definitely collect cash at the event too.

We'll start the shirt orders in March and a lot of folks will simply provide extra in the payment for those. That seems to be the easiest pre-event method, since I collect for the shirts with PayPal and keep an accounting spreadsheet. Stay tuned for this.

Thanks for asking!

I guess I could call Alain but you may already know how many he has registered for both classes. I am registered for Friday's class and some guys I ride with here locally are interested but have not yet committed. Available spots left may help them decide. This is my first Romney Camp and Ride; looking forward to it.

Doug, glad you are joining us this year...welcome.

I do not have access to the actual sign-up information for the class. It would be best for you to contact Xplor directly.

Hope your friends will be joining us, too.

There are openings still for both days, but less for the Friday class, which makes sense. People tend to see the training as helping them be ready for riding with other people on Saturday.

You won't find this level of training this cheap anywhere else. One reason is that Alain asks participants to remember to contribute to our charity in lieu of upping his price.

Well, since it simply can't be flashed while installed in the bike I guess you won't ever be getting it flashed then :p

It's really quite easy to remove/reinstall. If you can find the battery on the bike you can remove the ECU.

Needs help taking the seat off to get to the Alan key and then there is the dreaded side cover to remove.

bump to say that shirts are in process. Same low prices as last year thanks to InHouse Printing*, this year in dark green, and again you can include extra for the charity.

* We get the shirts at near cost because the owner will be part of the crowd and donates to our charity. So if you need printing Google Bob at InHouse in Springfield VA

I plan to make the trip to Romney for this event. My first on the Tenere! Looking forward to the riding and meeting some of you folks.

Including guys I greatly admire from their ride reports but have no intention of trying to follow! :D

One month out and we're at 100 (unofficial) planned attendees. Keep 'em coming.

I've received word that Kawasaki will be providing a Helite Airbag Vest as the grand prize in the raffle. If you haven't seen them click on the link and look at some of the videos. On a personal note my wife and I have been been using these for over a year. Biggest problem remains forgetting I have it on, so I often forget to plug in for a few miles. Overall glad I have it. I have trigger straps on all the bikes and don't like to ride without it. I hope to never need it, but I do know Checkswrecks said he was glad to have it when it was needed. It's a great prize and a big thanks to Kawasaki for providing it.

We'll all be there a month from now. Really looking forward to it.
