We're doing something a little different with the shirts this year and what follows is a clue. Talk about the ultimate Camp-N-Ride!

DCStrom (Trevor Angel), who started this event six years ago as just a small camp-out with a handful of guys, left the following year to ride home from here in the DC area. Home is in Perth, Australia. So far, he's done about 5 years and put 130,000 on his Super Tenere, including this spot on the salt flats on the way to Tierra Del Fuego

SHIRTS - SHIRTS - SHIRTS

Here's the call to order a shirt for this year's event and you can pm me your order, just like every other year.
DCStrom provided us with a full-resolution copy of his photo for Inhouse Bob to extract the bike and tent to do the artwork.

FRONT:

The back will have a list like the last couple of years with a few small changes, showing some fun stuff in the Romney WV area.

And we are holding the price to what it was last year.
$15 for short sleeve
$17 for long sleeve

Again, In-House Bob is making them and these are top quality dark green shirts, like in the graphic above. Anything extra from the shirts will of course go to the Potomac Center. They do good things and the grass most of us will sleep on is theirs.

To order, send me a personal message (pm) to ask for my email address. We use PayPal only as payment till we get to Romney.
In your pm MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE:
(1) SIZE for each shirt
(2) LONG SLEEVE or SHORT,
(3) YOUR REAL NAME TO TIE TO THE AVATAR NAME.
(4) How much you are adding for the charity if you are doing so.
(The donation is totally optional and up to you. The amount is usually clear from how much people send, but it can get goofy when people order more than one shirt with combinations of sleeve lengths.)

When I get your pm, I'll send you my email address and you send your PayPal payment to it. When I see the size(s) you want in your email and the money is received, I'll send you a confirmation email. We don't yet have a hard cut off date for ordering yet, but it will only be about three weeks from now when we will ask InHouse Bob to print the shirts.

Bob usually makes a few extra shirts for walk-up people who miss this pre-order. Those go really fast and we don't want to pay for unsold shirts so there aren't many, but for the first people to arrive there may be a chance to score one. To keep things simple, they'll be $20 in cash. Again, everything we take in beyond the expense of having the shirts printed will go to the charity.

MAILING: The only difference this year is that ALL SHIRTS WILL BE PICKUP ONLY and I plan to arrive with them on Thursday evening. Blame me for being a total slacker and late to get this thing going, if you need to. Seriously, if you pay for a shirt, are a no-show at the event, and pm me then we MIGHT-possibly-maybe be able to sell your shirt to get your money back to you. Or hopefully, you could pm to tell me to sell it to somebody else and you donate your $15 or $17 to the Potomac Center charity.
If I don't see you or hear from you, then after the event expect a pm to ask if you want to send an additional $6 for postage in the US or $10 for Canada and I'll mail it. Just think, you could wear it to next year's 7th Annual Camp-N-Ride and nobody will be any the wiser.
8)

[Legalese - The artwork is fairly locked down but it's possible that some details may change slightly.)

I think that's it, but feel free to post or pm with your questions.

So along with the dealer coordination by Dirt Dad, food and logistic details by Larry and Kevin at Romney Cycle, Suzuki and Yamaha bringing new toys in their demo trucks, route maps, and everything else . . .

. . . we're up and running with our first shirt sales already. Get yours!

We have a lot of people who come year after year. If you bought a shirt last year and already have my email address, it has not changed. You can just PayPal to that and put your details in the comments section of the PayPal payment.

As always - Make SURE to send it to Friends and Family or we lose (iirc) 3% that could go to the charity.

Thanks everybody!

Had a question on the other forum about contributions to the Potomac Center charity.

You can always make donations on site by cash or check. Just ask in our registration area where you will sign in and get your wrist band.

Timing and prior commitments!! Sigh!
I'm picking up the bike from Romney. I'd have like to pick up during the meetup days, but life calendar smashed that plan out of the park!
Would have been great to meet up S10ers and learn learn learn.

I think I'm caught up on emails regarding shirts. If you've sent a request and not gotten an email with my email address, please send me another personal message through the forum.

Shirts and donations are coming along - THANK YOU for the donations!

No kidding on both counts, especially 'cuz Patrick and TrueGrip are both a lot younger than you and I.

I see you two are still at it.
We ran into each other in Colorado and neither of us even had a motorcycle with us. And Patrick was STILL Patrick.
So yea, no one should be surprised. :)

(His family is awesome!!! Wife & kids are simply wonderful folks. Not sure how he did that) ;)
