Put my 10 inch charcoal Jesse Odyssey's on today - a little aggravating due to instructions but not a bad install when I figured it out. I think these are plenty wide for me and pretty happy with the color. I know that is always subjective but I didn't want the silver or care for the glossy black so charcoal it was:

Looking good Wulfgar. I have the same bags in black, the black shows the dirt to easily I am thinking now that I see the charcoal that’s what I should have gone with..

Sure do. I remember the Safaris have the angled opening:

Wulfgar,

How wide did your installed bags end up being?

Thanks for the reminder - I was torn between the Odyssey's and Safari's but went with the Odyssey in the end. Sorry for the brain fade, must have still had the Safari's on the mind.

Thanks for all the kind words guys - pretty happy with the charcoal and now just need to put some more miles on the ole girl. Done with most mods - AltRider plates and guards, MadStad adjustable screen bracket and CalSci short and tall screens. Still thinking about heated grips but may do the Gerbring gloves and what not. Really loving the bike as I hope each of does yours.

Let us know how the short screen works out. I have a tall Parabellum for the cold weather but would like the CalSci short for the Summer. IMO, the stock screen doesn't seem to block enough wind for the Winter but blocks too much for the Summer.

Will do - ordered the short one in August and got a good couple of months on her w/ the Alabama weather. Good, clean air but no protection to speak of.
