My Cyclops LED headlight kit currently has 8,000 miles and absolutely no issues, by far the best improvement I've made to my Tenere .

Installed today, along with 194 LED marker lights (Pilot band, 5 LED from Walmart). With an infill panel, and doing the marker lights, I elected to just pull the light assembly. However, during testing, I failed to let it warm up and fully cycle the fuel injection and incurred the "hard start" condition. The lights all looked good, but I'm letting it sit til the morning to see if it starts w/o pulling the FI fuse.

I am glad I pulled the assembly. I can't imagine trying to stuff the light module and wiring with an infill panel in place. Just getting the retaining clips around the larger light was difficult, and would have been impossible for me on the bike. It would be three times faster to do another install.

the light and the mounting base come apart , you install the base then the light bale is fastened then you push in and give a twist to install light... the dash infill is a giant pain ,also removed it to install of lights .... did not need to remove the head light assembly to install....

JMZ. I like them. I went for about a ten mile ride down the FM road I live on and I felt comfortable riding the speed limit (60). The road is pretty curvy.

Signatures ??? we don't need no stinking signatures !!!

jmz, my thoughts are that they are better than the bulbs that came in the bike, could they be better , I think so..... for me if they last a few years I will be happy, should be an adjustment of the headlight to find a sweet spot but have not been able to do an adjustment yet.... I need to read Carrots service manual .... the lights are brighter and that is a safety plus as cars should (can never trust cars ) notice us more...

Instead of adjusting my light up I just run the Cyclops on high beam 100% day/night. Aimed downward enough by design that high beam does not blind oncoming vehicles and I get full bulb output on the road. I use my Rigid lightbar as a high beam when I need to really light up the night.

I also put a small cover to black out that too bright blue high beam indicator lamp. That was very annoying for me to have on at night and since I run high beam 100% not needed.

silver bullet, I am actually doing the same thing. headlight on high and using my rigid spots for a high beam , works pretty good that way. but if I could tweek the lights a little that would be cool too..... with all the lights on the front it is about 15000 lumens when they are on.... looks like a train coming down the street.

Well, mine finally crapped out again. Went from white light to a dim light blue, barely visible. In utah on a trip so off to napa for replacement halogens, pulled these off and threw in the dumpster. Glad others have had better luck than me.

Do you have the earlier models rated at lower lumens or the latest high (4000 I think) lumen rating?

Sorry to hear your lights crapped out ! So your LEDs have failed more than once ? So far a little over 8,000 on mine with no issues and hopefully it stays that way.

I had one that did this before and they replaced, both died this time, not really died but so dim they were useless.

How many miles on your Cyclops kit ? I would have contacted Cyclops to see what if anything they might be willing to do for you. During the day the stock bulbs are fine but for night riding they just ain’t good enough for me.
