The big difference here from my experience is likely the low seat and my Arai XD3. Glad you are having good luck. Hopefully the large makes all the difference for me.Podman said:5'8"-9" ; 30 ; low seat; medium w/s ; improvement ::015::
Another reason to ride without earplugs comes to light! ::015::GaryAA said:Last week I was reading an online motorcycle publication and they mentioned that wind noise is the number one cause of hearing loss in motorcyclists. I wonder why my wife keeps yelling at me?
I'd love to know how tall you are, maybe I missed it in a earlier in thread. I can see where it seems a persons plus or minus one inch height difference make a big difference.Rynn Storm said:I received the large CalSci screen and sent it back for the XL version. Kept it wrapped up during my test ride so I didn't look at it too closely. If I just moved my head down an inch then no issues with wind. So the XL version should be perfect. Good customer response from CalSci (always important) and the screen included a small towel and cleaning fluid. Note, I do have my seat at the high position and sit up straight.
I currently have the MRA VarioTouringScreen Windshield which looks darn sharp and does a good job with the wind, but still a little too noisy for a long trip. Plan to keep it for my bounce around town windscreen for the looks. After all, 90% of riding is about fashion...
