Thanks twinrider, measures in at 36". I'll post some more pics tonight.

Thanks very much Jason for all your help and delivering this quality product as promised.

Well these are "adventure bikes" so a few wear marks score bonus points at Starbucks. ::024::rotaryracer said:Bruised, good callout, and probably a worthwhile recommendation for any powdercoated or anodized panniers. From what I've heard, Rok Straps seem to work better in this regard, but some type of protection is another good solution!
Hey Mark - both pannier systems use 2mm aluminum in their construction (versus the more common 1.5mm) and will probably be pretty comparable for strength. BUMOT has a more substantial overlap where the floor meets the pannier body that provides a nice perimeter "ring" of protection - Holan has this as well, but it's a bit smaller. General fit and finish is comparable, with each respective system having some unique features - BUMOT's toolbox, Holan's mounting system, etc. When spec'd similarly, a BUMOT a system will come out slightly less expensive than a comparable Holan system; however, you can get different options from Holan such as natural aluminum finish, stainless racks, etc.MarkM said:How do the BUMOT and Holan panniers compare? Is one set tougher or bigger or better fitting or better finished than the other?

That said, does Bumot offer a natural finish like Holan's?
Hi PowersUSA - I believe they are all going to be pillion bracket mounts. The new rack design is compatible with all 2012+ non-ES bikes, as well as the 2014 ES-equipped models, so I believe they are going to standardize on that moving forward.PowersUSA said:Jason,
Will there be two right side rack options, direct frame mount and pillion mount, going forward? Or will they all be pillion mount?
Are there any active coupon codes going on right now for the Bumot panniers ? The shipping for me is $120 ouch ::010::rotaryracer said:We have a few systems left in stock and more on the way from Bulgaria at the end of the month - if you have any questions or would like more info on BUMOT luggage for your S10, please email me at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com or call the shop at (585) 310-ADVM.
Thanks!
Hi datjackal - no promos running on luggage in the foreseeable future. The BUMOT systems ship in two boxes via UPS Ground and, based on the box size and actual packed weight, incur an oversize/dimensional weight surcharge. If it helps, if there are other small parts you're looking at like headlight guards, pannier inner bags, heel guards, extenda fendas, etc., we can usually sneak stuff like that into the system box so that there's no additional shipping cost on the extra farkles. Our September BUMOT shipment is leaving Bulgaria tomorrow and we've only got a few systems left in that one that aren't spoken for...feel free to contact me with any questions or to reserve one?datjackal said:Are there any active coupon codes going on right now for the Bumot panniers ? Mellow, that's great to hear, and thanks for your feedback!Mellow said:Just wanted to say I recently did a week-long trip and some of it involved heavy rain.
Some boxes I've tried in the past, well most of them, have leaked during even a modest rain and these did not have a single drop in them. I think the design of the seal is the key and it does an excellent job.
Kudos! Love these bags!
