Looking forward to seeing and hearing it.
AWESOME !! post lots of pictures !!!! Full report.....full report....... ::018::Longboard said:The guys art Yosh emailed today letting me know the bike was on the dyno with their proto-type exhaust. I am itching to see what kind of the power the bike makes stock vs their slip on. They are bringing the bike back Wednesday and then I plan to take it in to my local ECUnleashed dealer to get their flash done and toss it on their dyno. At that point it will have the full Arrow exhaust, PCV with AT and a K&N. It will be cool to compare the stock to the "oh shit" setup ::26::

Anything you can show us yet? Looking forward to an update! ::017::Longboard said:Hi All,
Today Yoshimura picked up my bike at work. They are using it to develop their new exhaust for the Super T. It's not final yet but they think they will use thier RS-3C muffler.
This muffler is availble in three types. Stainless, carbon fiber and titanium. I will post pics as well as before and after dyno runs soon.
Thanks, Let us know when you find something out. ::017::houndman said:See that Longboard is doing other mods with his bike concerning reflashes etc. just a few days ago. Don't know if that is with a Yosh pipe or not. I am gonna look at contacting Yosh myself and see what is going on concerning an exhaust for the Super Ten.
Thanks Houndman-!! I had a Yoshimura sales lady who I was emailing back and forth a bit last month. She asked me in her last email if I had a S10 and I told her I did but left it at that. That was Feb 17th. She, Lauren Waters, said she spoke with R&D and that they already had one.Houndman said:I emailed Yoshimura concerning devlopement of a muffler for the Super Tenere. Recieved a response saying they were efforting developement of a pipe for the S-Tenere. I let them know if they needed a bike for the purpose. Reply also mentioned they might need a bike for help and that they would forward my message to the people that take the bikes in. No communication since. At any rate it looks like Yoshimura is getting something going for the Super Ten.
I am with you, aka ::026:: . Good things are worth waiting for right. Somebody said that ...Houndman said:Problem here is that Longboard started this thread, people wanna know the progress, when it seemed that there was not gonna be an answer concerning the whole deal or an update I went ahead and contacted them. I am gonna hold out for whatever Yosh comes up with as they make quality prods while not paying "Akra" prices.
Thanks for the update Longboard. Fair and square! ::008::Longboard said:Ok Ok don't shot me!
My bike was at Yosh for a long time. Once they took it they ran into other work and the R&D for the ST was put on hold for a couple weeks. They called every week to make sure it was cool if they kept it longer. I was fine with that. After weeks of waiting they finished the proto type and sent me pic's and dyno charts. I was surprised to see what they came up with. To be honest it didn't look so good. I sent the photo's to a few ST friends to get their feed back. Once I got the feedback from the others I sent that along with my own back to the Yosh team.
The problem was they were trying to use a universal muffler rather then fabricate or create a new design. It just didn't sit right or look right on the bike. So after I sent them the feedback they made the decision to go back to the drawing board and to create a new "made for the T" muffler ::012::. Unfortunately they have some other projects more pressing right now so it is going to get pushed back for now.
Good news is that when they get back at it the second one should be a real winner.
Thats the story folks. Sorry for not getting back sooner. Please don't ask for the photo's as they don't want them shown for now.
