Hi All,

Today Yoshimura picked up my bike at work. They are using it to develop their new exhaust for the Super T. It's not final yet but they think they will use thier RS-3C muffler.

This muffler is availble in three types. Stainless, carbon fiber and titanium. I will post pics as well as before and after dyno runs soon.

I gave them the bike with my full Arrow set up as well as the stock exhaust. They are going to dyno their prototype against both. It doesn't sound like they plan on making a header so I will likely run the Arrow with the Yosh.

Hmmm, wasn't it Flounder from Animal House that said, "This is gonna be great!"

I eagerly await the posted results and hope the tax man is merciful. Let there be a refund...

Bravo! I've always been a fan of the Yosh pipes. They sounded great on my previous bikes. Eager to hear about the results!

That is great! Yoshi makes beautiful can's that sound great. Although I associate Yoshi with Suzuki, a Yoshi is a great alternative.

Should be pretty wicked sounding. >:D Seems like Yosh always has a nice, rich sound, but always on the loud side. Can't do loud where I live, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who live in areas where noise is not such an issue.

The full CF is a beauty and would be a shame to cover it up with the stock exhaust cover. I associate Yoshi with my kids Nintendo DS game...

We talked about the fact that most people accociate Yoshimura with Suzuki. This is something the company wants to change. They have plans to branch out and get more visible on other brands.

I had yosh cans on my VFR 750 back in the day and loved the sound they produced. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the come up with.

I've had Yoshimura slipons on my SV650 and GSXR750 and they sounded great and were not overly loud, but I never removed the end baffles either.
The fit and finish of both were excellent.
The main advantage of both was the weight savings.
I was considering a Remus hexacone titanium like I ran on my F800GS, but now will wait to see what the Yoshi is like...

The Remus hangs at a weird angle on the S10...I expect something more well thought out for a pipe in the Akra price range. Nice looking pipie by itself, but the mount angle is closer to being level with the ground which causes the outlet to hang low.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to update you. I just got off the [phone with the head of R&D at Yosh. They were supposed to give me the bike back tomorrow but they need it for another week. Once they are done with the bike it will take three to four weeks before the first production sample arrives. At that point I will bring by bike back in and they mount that unit and check the fitments one last time. If all looks good I will ride home with the pipe on the bike and then will report back to you all with my thoughts, dyno charts and video's.

When they put the bike on the dyno, make sure that TCS is set to off and they make the graph in 5th or 6th gear as the lower gears are restricted. ::022::
