That's a large 10-4. ::008:: I'm going grey, myself. No, I mean the bike. I went grey a long time ago. ::012:: R

Brought my 2013 white beast home yesterday. Vin# 291. Fresh off the boat....Very nice ride, especially with heated grips at 4 degrees C (39F). Installing all black Altrider crash bars, skid plate and luggage rack.

I'm really missing the wind protection of my ST1300, which I traded in on my Tenere. I find the Tenere very lacking in wind protection, and have been seriously thinking of picking up a used FJR to get back my cold weather protection, and perhaps a little bit of sport riding benefit to boot. Although, I have no problem keeping up, and even leading my sport riding group while on my Tenere. Now that I have the K60's its a different story. I can't ride as hard as i could with the stock tires. I still have my Buells for sport riding, but am missing sport touring, and without decent sport tires, the Tenere can't hang. IMO... I have been surfing the FJR forums, and would love some input from former FJR riders that have moved on to the Tenere. I've always maintained a multiple bike garage, and think an FJR would be a good addition now that the ST1300 is gone...

Very nice! Congratulations, my Yamaha dealer doesn't have any 2013 Tenere for sale yet, you're probably the first to get a 2013 in Canada.
It's a bit cold today, but I can see from the tracks on your driveway that you went for a few rides today ;D ::26::

great to see the white ones showing up on N. American Continent at least. The USA won't be long.

I don't have an FJR but have you ridden with a 24 or 26 inch windscreen with the windwings?

I know what you mean about the greater weather protection of the FJR...I still have my 08, and there are times riding the ST that I miss the electrically adjustable windscreen. I tried a Madstad bracket both with the the stock windscreen and the Cal Sci shorty, and never found a happy position, so I am currently on the CalSci shorty , and I kicked the bottom out as much as possible to get it to lay back and clean up the air around my helmet. Now that it's finally cooling off here in AZ, I'm starting to think about a 24" Parabellum and the factory winglets...

A pair of windshields works great for summer vs winter. I had a real tall shield and it worked OK last winter. I have the Parabellum on now and really appreciate not just the height, but the extra width too.

Your going to enjoy this bike. Congrats ::008::

Do you have a link for the Barnett clutch conversion (gets rid of the OEM diagram and use's normal plate/springs)? I looked up the Barnett site and did not find it. That would be great if it rids the OEM mechanism with a normal setup and removes the slippage.
