Went North 300 miles this morning for a tire change. Utilized the Rumbux tire carrier. ;D

MPG did drop about 8 mpg at ~80mph. ???

Then collected the SO on her new GSA at the dealer after her 600 mile service and headed out for the back roads home.
Ran the Huntington & Eccles Canyons scenic byway, which was deserted and beautiful.

A nice day of passes, twisties and lonely roads with great views and my favorite riding partner.

Pine Creek - The PA Grand Canyon for hiking and camping, Tioga PA State Forest, then Centralia on the way home. Well sorta on the way.

BTW - 8" tire and stream crossings don't mix. If ANYBODY sees me contemplating this again, you hereby have my permission to kick my ass.
::)
See the far side?

We now objectively can state that a Super Tenere has enough stability and power to drag a trailer that's been flipped on it's side coming out of a stream crossing and hitting the far bank. The bike is a f-ing beast.
::)
The results were just scratches on the camper box and pop rivets needed to re-attach a latch. Color me lucky.
