Currently in Utah riding around. Did about 35 miles of dirt in the Grand Staircase area. About 3/4 of it was nice, then turned to a lot of silt. To say the least, the bike is a handful in the stuff. Only one fall on a desending turn in the silt. The rear tire washed out on me.

Opening Day on Alberta 40 running over Highwood Pass.
Ran the road north to south.
Kind of windy, a few falling snowflakes, and one degree Celsius going over the top.
Saw RCMPolice, a grizzly bear and several bighorn sheep.
Minimal traffic and bunches of motorcycles.
Super Tenere is flawless.....

Took a day off from work and rode from Atlanta to the Dragon for lunch and back - total of 420 miles. Hit some nice dirt roads on the way there and back: Tatham Gap and Winding Stairs (for those who know the area around Robbinsville)

Got back over the weekend from a trip to Utah. Put about 1,800 miles on, and the bike never missed a beat. A week just does not give one enough time to see everything and only a small amount of time to ride some great roads. It seems I was lucky to miss all the great temp's this week.....

Metropolis, IL? Sometimes we'll stop at the Casino for the night (cheap, nice rooms) on the way to see family in Wisconsin. It's about 1/2 way for us.

my bike took me camping over the weekend. Camped by the Kern river.After all these drought years it was nice to have water in the river. ;D

Took the missus to snazzy 4 star hotel in East Yorkshire on Saturday and the Olivers Mount to watch the road racing on Sunday.

Need to fully wear out the tyres before our Euro jaunt in 5 weeks time!
