Happy New year everyone!
Just about two weeks ago supplemented the headlights with a single HID Hella DE ... been running these lights for years on my other bikes. Then better put them to good use because the S10 really needs some help!
For now only one light, have also the regular halogen DE fogs that I could combine. Independent switch / relay / fuse straight to the battery, still have the option of using the bike outlet.
Still more stuff to add to complete the build.

Not today but this week it was time for the 40.000km service. Including a valve check, all within spec and the measurement were provided by them. (Gebben motoren is a good place!)
When i picked it up i pulled it apart again for the rest of the service. That was spark-plugs, measuring resistance on the coils, TBS, air filter, oil and filter, lubing all pivot points, new rear Mitas E-07+ Dakar.
Ah well you know the drill... Oh yeah almost forgot i ACF50-ied the outside of the coils and rubbers to give water less of a chance there. Outer plugs were a bit rusty and the Shop-manager warned about it.

Soooo waiting for spring now...

TENERE work day! 5 tires changed, oil changed, wired two bikes so the aux lights come on with high beams, new brakes pads, bled brakes, and clutch. Changed driveshaft gear oil, new coolant, added OEM heated grips, air filter change.
Was a great time with and buddy, and my Dad and Brother. All in all got a lot done and had a great time!

New tires front and rear. New rear disk and rear pads today.

Last week oil and rear diff change along with flushing brakes and clutch.

Should be good with maintenance for a while.

As a bonus a new front tire for the Gold Wing showed up while I was finishing up the S10 so I changed it as well.

Took off the Jesse racks, sanded some rusty spots on them repainted. Also pulled the grabrails to maybe better accommodate the Tusk soft bags. May regret taking those off.

Are they the Pilots? Looking for some soft bags that I can use on the Ten and other bikes. It seems we can even get them here...

They are the Pilots. Have been running them for about a month. The jury is still out on whether I really like them. The bags are nice, seem to be well made. My complaint is that they kind of fiddly getting in and out of them.

Thanks. Might try some. For the price and the number of times I need panniers they might do the trick. Being an easy swap to other bikes is a bonus too.

Ehh! The situation is such that there is no money for this (((The economic situation in the country, to put it mildly, is very bad. A new one is very expensive, I mean KTM 890, 1290. I hope that I will soon cope with this situation.

I’m sorry to hear that, the current suspense in your part of the world is not good for economy I guess. Just stick around, it’s nice to see pictures from your country now and then.

Divide this amount by 78 and get in $. This is not a lifting amount for a motorcycle.
For this reason, it is always good to compare yourself with those who are "worse" than yourself... it helps you perceive that you are no longer so bad, speaking of the economic situation of a country…..

Note that they are 2020 models, 0 km …… 2022, they do not exist here…..
