I looked at it before going to work, wishing I lived in the southwest.

I'm doing brake and clutch fluid next weekend. I checked and cleaned the brakes last weekend and found the rear pads to be low, so waiting for new ones to arrive. I've done the oil and filter, greased the drive shaft splines and changed the oil in the FD too. Trying Castrol synthetic gl5 in there this time...New air filter and spark plugs after 26,000 miles. Next: Throttle body sync and brake fluid change.

Lovely, I can't tell you how envious we are over here in freezing Canada. Midst of a snow storm at the moment. On Saturday I fitted my Rox risers and yesterday went for a cold and windy ride to the seaside (UK, East coast), about 180 miles.
The risers are brilliant and the bike handles strong sidewinds really well - the cold, muddy slippery roads were less fun but at least the ABS and traction control both work!
Photo of the bike by the beach, the little dot in the sea is the local coastguard out for practise/play in the breaking waves.
Now that my friend, is the epitome of repurposing!View attachment 52238

I wanted this "Filler Panel" that Pyramid Plastics makes, but they want around $100 for them.........................
So I made one for FREE! (well, not exactly free. It cost me a box of donuts)

Cut out the exact shape I wanted, using Cardboard from a donut-box...................
Traced the shape onto a sheet of Stainless-Steel from an old Bosch Dishwasher that we no longer have.

Cut it out using my Air-Cutoff Wheel.

Smoothed the edges on my Bench-Grinder

Punched out the Holes that are already in the Subframe............No drilling on the bike at all.
Transferred them to the SS, and drilled them out.

I had a bag of these leftover from the inner fender panels on my Jeep.

I like it!
I'm thinking once it warms up this Spring, I'll take it off and paint it "Satin-Black"
