Got a chance to test the new E07 Dakar's. Rode Tortilla Flats to Roosevelt Lake.. perfect AZ weather.

At the bottom of Fish Creek Hill. View attachment 52051
Might have seen you! I turned around before I got to Roosevelt (first picture). For those who may not know the road, that's it angling up above the bike. The Dakars are perfect for that road. It was a bit breezy coming home.

Nice tyres, I run the OEMs until they need to be replaced.
I got approximately 15,500 KM (9,000 miles) on my OEM tyres with my Africa Twin. All city- highway very little gravel.
What can I expect of the Battle Wing tyres?

The ones I took off my 2014 had a little over 8,000 miles on them.
They might have had a few more miles left in them (not much) , but I wanted a slightly more aggressive tire, so I took them off.

I guess it sorta works like this: The Ten is a little heavier than the Africa Twin hence one can expect expect a shorter tyre life. Although there are many other factors a play, overall weight, due to rider's weight baggage, road temperatures, off road use, passenger weight along with how one uses the throttle and brakes.

I saw a bunch of tigers and a duc, but not another super. It was a perfect weekend for that road. I'd like to go up and over 4 peaks then back out thru apache and canyon.

Your S10 appears to be a '13 like mine.
I have also removed the red Yamaha Speed Blocks and left on the Super Tenere stickers near the upper cowling air scoops.
How easy was it to swap out the OEM turn signals to LED types and was it pricey to do so?
I must admit I pretty much scooped this beauty up already done. All I've done was put tires on her. I had another 13 that I did most the same stuff too. LED's aren't hard. I did the heavy flasher to keep normal signal rate on the last one, but I've come to like the quick flash (stand out more).

What time did you get back through AJ? I was heading out after 2pm. Thought I met a white ST around Lost Dutchman.
