If you're considering a CalSci medium or large, might I suggest you take a look at the offerings from Parabellum -
http://parabellum.com/Super-Tenere-Replacement-Windshield-P79C19.aspx
I first got a CalSci "medium" for my Super Tenere based on the good performance of the CalSci windshield on my FJR, but when I got the CalSci Super Tenere screen it simply did not work. Add to that the fit and finish was terrible as compared to the FJR screen. Choppy, irregular cuts... Poorly finished edges... Etc., etc. Upon the recommendation of a forum member here I got a Parabellum "medium" and found it to be far, far superior, both in fit and finish as well as performance. Smoother air flow, quieter, you name it.
To add just how good the Parabellum is... Recently I picked up a used National Cycle "V-Stream" screen, thinking I'd try it given the good reviews by some. Got it. Mounted it. Rode with it for 200 miles, and went right back to the Parabellum screen. It flat just works.
And for the record, I am in no way work for or am affiliated in any way, shape, or form with Parabellum, other than as a satisfied customer. So satisfied that when and if this one ever needs to be replaced I will happily buy another. I've got over 30,000 miles with the Parabellum and I can recommend it highly.
