I find that the stock rear brake pedal pad is woefully undersized for my liking.
I just bought this Alt Rider bolt on that works a beaut, albeit at a ridiculous high price.
Installation necessitated brake lever height and brake light switch adjustments of which I found to be tedious to get just right.

Replaced the Cyclops Adventure LED bulbs with Hikari Ultra LED Bulbs.

The cyclops bulbs seemed to be getting dim and I already have experience with the Hikari Ultras because I put them in my truck. The install went smoothly and the Hikari Ultras are brighter, with a wider pattern than the Cyclops. Also the build quality on the Hikari ultras is far superior to the Cyclops LEDs. The Cyclops plastic mounting collar actually broke as I removed them. The Hikaris are all metal and feel much more substantial, as well as more precisely made.

Changed my tires for the first time on my new equipment. First time I've done my own tires in ~30 plus years. Locals wanted too much, ($35-70 each, wheel off the bike). Tusk bead breaker bolted to the bench, (3) 14" tire spoons and lots of RuGlyde. Dismount was fine. Front mounting in 95F was easy. Rear mount in 75F was more work. Some blocks to keep the lower bead up in the center of the wheel and some clamps to pull the top bead down got me there. May look into a mount/dismount bar next time.

Zero issue seating the beads thanks to a tip from a friend to make a 'tool' of a short bit of hose over a Q/R fitting to inflate quickly and seat beads. My 2 gal home compressor did great. Made some minor errors, but nothing critical. Balanced on a Harbor Freight balancer that I got 25% off with a coupon. Cheap rim protectors worked, but are toast after two tires. I have a better quality pair that I held in reserve. I'll be ordering another pair of those for next time too. (Pit Posse)

replaced one cyclops LED that died on me 4 days ago.... new bulb from cyclops had some improvements . I think I installed them about 1 and a half years ago . I think . the mounting collar is now metal ,one improvement that boxy thing is slimmer and smaller so easier to stash... see how it last.

After about 20,000 miles which included a Trip to Alaska & back to Denver 2 years ago, I checked my spokes. I have them all wire tied but there were quite a few that took a little twist of the wrench. Getting prepped for the Ouray Rally. New Mitas E-07's will be going on the first week or 2 of July. 16k on the rear & 13 k on the front current E-07's. I will probably be putting on new brakes pads too. 1st Rear was cooked before 15k. The current front and rear pads look a little over half way thru.

Dropped her off at the local Yamaha shop to have a fork seal replaced. The left one was leaking, even after cleaning with a plastic strip. Warranty covered it all. The tech said they were going to replace both fork seals.

Upon picking it up, one of the main sales guys came out and asked how I liked the Super Tenere? He commented that he had never seen one. Kinda made me worry about them working on my bike. They really only sell atvs, sxs, and dirt bikes.

Fitted the Touratech screen height adjuster, so I can lower it in warm weather and Tomtom sat-nav mount. Theft wise it's not that secure, but what is? Silly money, but they tell me you can't take it with you. I've not had a chance to ride and see how waggy or not, it is.

How is that GPS Sun Visor working for you? I just saw these for $15 on ebay and I could really use one that works for my Zumo 660
I've been useing it for 2 years now in conjunction with an anti glare screen protector and it does help, unless the sun is low and behind. The elastic straps make accessing the on/off button a little awkward, but that's it. I paid around the equivilent of $15 , so cheap enough to give it a go.

Have installed X3 leds for headlamps and also led for the auxiliary light, having white front lights is what I wanted.
X3 are rated at 6000lm intensity so at night for sure I will be able to see clearly. Back covers needed to be replaced.

I like it!! Although I added three LED'S to my bike, I still have the crappy OEM headlights. I installed an LED strip light under the headlights (2720 lumens) and an LED in each side mounted onto the crash bars (3450 lumens each)
I control all three lights using an off on switch mounted sideways on the base of the left mirror.
I'm just outside of the traffic regulations as only a maximum of four white lights to the front are permitted

Shumba, will you be outside of regulation only if you turn them all at once, correct?
Can you have many switches as you want an never turn more than four on at unce, csn that.work out?
Main head light with X3 leds is a great improvement an very $ atractive ( $25.00 usd) and much more visibility!

Regards
Miguel
