A little early for all that, even by Canadian standards.
Just feeling sorry for myself.. Had a bit of an accident on the bike 2 weeks ago and I'll be off for the rest of the year.

finnally took the time to balance my injectors (15000 mi), after putting in a K&N filter.I would have done it sooner, if I knew what it did to the bike. Took some of the engine clatter away, mileage went up and the bike is a lot smoother. I did open up the "control" side, one half turn and went from there, worked like a charm. I was also concerned about damaging my tank, so on lifting it, I used two 1/4 inch eye bolts through the tank mounting bolt holes and then suspended the front of the tank from the rafters with a tie down. Turned out to be very secure and I didnt worry about holding the tank up. The wife didnt want to stand out in the garage and hold it for me. Rode 280 miles and managed to get 250 miles on the tank at hitting reserve.

Too hot today? It was beautiful in Lodi, wish I could easily play hooky from work.

Put on some double take mirrors. Kinda broke the left OEM one off, when I drop my bike last week, in the garage, right onto my wife's bike . . .
Not my proudest moment.

48,000 mile service, valves checked, hadn't moved since 24,000 miles when they were adjusted to wide end of the tolerance. Won't bother checking them again for another 48,000 miles.

2014 clutch basket fitted. Lovely and quiet now.

Also fitted a pair of Roadsmart 3 tyres.

We'll see how tomorrows ride goes. 101k on the bike, so time for some suspension upgrades. Cheaper than a new bike! :D

I flushed and replaced the coolant in the cooling system as well as checking my air filter. Simply excuse to spend about an hour and a half in the garage working on the bike!

Got my ACD Racing skid plate on, bit of a faff with only 1 pair of hands, this is the last mod before sailing off to Norway/Sweden for a couple of weeks riding + camping.

Some of the clearances seem very tight, e.g. the lowest part of the exhaust to the bracket is only a couple of mm ... is this normal? couldn't see any pics to give me a hint.

Apparently there was a small change in how low the cat hangs on the '14+ bikes. The new plates are supposed to compensate for that. I took a rotary file to the holes and elongated them enough to hang the plate a tiny bit lower, and this is on a '12 and my messing around with the exhaust. Clearance is clearance though, as long as they don't touch.
