I didn't like how open the rear of the bike was so I worked up a liner to keep some of the water spray and road grime inside the frame. Call it a rain fender if you want.

What do ya think?

Good idea but how is it fixed?

Just tie wrapped to the frame in points that keep it from sliding. The tie wraps pull it into the frame on the inside surface making it bend up into the space. I used an old plastic trash can.

That's the best shot I could get. Sorry. I should have taken one before installing. Basically a rectangle with a slot cut to allow for the rear brake reservoir line.

Installed my Yamaha LED flashers today. Bright or what. Flash a little erratically though. Tried just 2 resisters with no luck then all 4. Better, but I need that Flasher Unit mentioned on here somewhere. ::001::

Took about a 150 miler ride through the San Bernardino Mnts. today. Nice up and down twistie mountain roads. Pic is at Onyx summit,8443 ft(2573 meters) elevation. Beautiful day. Mt San Gorgonio is slightly to the southwest, highest peak in Southern California at 11,503(3506 meters). Then on to Big Bear Ca. through and down the mountain west on highway 38.

::008::Very cool approach to this issue, I like it. ::008:: I have been mulling this over since my right leg got covered in mud. The rear right side of this bike is dirty when riding off road, and wet when it is raining. Covers the back of your leg with whatever is coming off the rear tire

I will be trying to copy your idea... ::012::
