snakebitten, coming from coastal Texas to Central Texas there would be lots of nice routes. If you do a google search for Texas Wildflower reports you'll find a couple different sites that will lay out for you some nice roads between here and there. I can give you all the roads around here that are nice- but you should check out the web site as there are alot of roads a little more south that are just as nice. ::018::
YOU sir, are a true gent! I am researching it now. Your posts SCREAMED out to my adventure ear. Thanks. ;D

Rode my S10 to work for the first time. I've gone home lunch tme and picked it up once but this is the first time in the morning. A little cool maybe but awesome nevertheless.

Either your date stamp is off on your camera or you are from the future! :D

Is that a Calsci shorty windscreen? If so, do you like it? I'm thinking of ordering one when the weather hots up.

12,000 mile service (went over a bit. OH, and I have a service contract.....so I drink coffee while a pro attends to the S10.....felt wrong the first couple of times. I embrace it now ;D)

Had to purchase my very first maintenance item. Rear brake pads. Not gone completely, but questionable that they would make it to 16,000.

Front brakes still looking very nice.

Fresh Fluids and filters. Ready for the next 12,000! Amazing machine. Absolutely dig the K60's. ~6000 miles on them and looking strong. I am amazed that the computer on this bike safely allows for the "Tarmac Compromise" of the K60, allowing for the HUGE payoff when you get to the end of the pavement! I personally believe the excellent TC and ABS are the only reason I find the K60's so fitting. Otherwise, the pavement compromise would be more than I would be willing to deal with in crappy weather conditions. (Which I am not feint to ride in on this magnificent beast)

Only looked at it while filling the sprayer with RoundUp multiple times.

But took these pics of the sunset on Red Mountain. It sucks to live here. ;)
Absolutely gorgeous. Your state is incredible. Nice pics.

Thanks. There is beauty in every state, but I'm really enjoying Utah after spending most of my life in Oregon. I sometimes miss the blues and greens of Oregon, but then I realize it's snowing there and I'm riding here. ;D

She's had her 6000 mile service today and a set of Anakee2's. I'm having to learn to ride again as the last tyres were squared off , due to Winter riding and motorways ( freeways). Another 70 miles and they'll be scrubbed in and ready for the Summer.

Replaced the rear Anakee2 w/BS Battlewing yesterday in prep for a trip. The Anakee had 6k on it but I have a 2k trip coming up and better safe than sorry. I think it would have been fine but don't care for worrying about a tire during a trip. The front Anakee looks almost brand new... I'm thinking you can get 2 rears to every front with those tires.

Hit 350 km (on day 2 of ownership) and got it muddy for the first time! I have never ridden off road before - what a hoot to do it with the Beast to break my mud-cherry. I love this bike, and cannot stop smiling....
