Me too...
My 1948 first year production 336 in 30-30. Traded some stooge a chi-com SKS for it several years ago.I don't think any of y'all have showed a Marlin 30-30. If you have one, hang on to it. When Remington/Ruger bought Marlin they stopped production. So, the Model 336 is stupid expensive now. Wish I still had mine.
Can I trade you an SKS for it?My 1948 first year production 336 in 30-30. Traded some stooge a chi-com SKS for it several years ago.
How'd I do?

So, I went to Ruger.com to see what Mini-14s were going for. . . . . msrp is $1,229. And that's just the ordinary Ranch Rifle. The one y'all have. . . . I can only imagine. It seems like not very long ago they were only $500-$600.The one Hannibal on the A TEAM had was a select fire fully auto mini 14 called the AC 556. Very sought after and they command a large price. . . .
The Ruger "Factory Folders" were rare. The stainless steel factory folders were a little bit more rare. The SS factory folder Ranch Rifles were even more rare. The Ruger factory folders will always have the gas block staked with the sling mount on the left side of the rifle and not on the bottom. There are a lot of fakes out there, but the side mount staked sling mounts only came from the factory. I have an original SS Factory Folder Ranch Rifle, but at the time I bought it, it was nothing special and I just thought it was a cool looking rifle. I shot one twenty round mag through it and put it in the safe. To the right collector, my Mini 14 should be worth around three to four grand. So, I went to Ruger.com to see what Mini-14s were going for. . . . . msrp is $1,229. I'm assuming that it mounts to the pivot point?Been trying to find a sling swivel for the rear of the folding mini.
What about this? Samson Manufacturing: Swivel Stud QD Adapter (samson-mfg.com)Been trying to find a sling swivel for the rear of the folding mini.
That perfect! For those of y'all that like to carry a pistol with you when you travel, but don't like leaving it in the car when it's not allowed in certain places, Tuffy makes excellent lockboxes for them. Here's the one in my Jeep, but they make them for most trucks and some SUVs. I suspect that all the employees have had their vehicles used to make some of the boxes, 'cuz there are a few odd vehicles on their list. They're not theft proof, but it's going to take the right tools and a good amount of time to get the box. And almost impossible to breach the box in place.

I've seen those. Want one. I keep trying to get my boys to get me one for Christmas, my birthday, or any other reason I can think of.Santa brought me a new room broom. Smith and Wesson M&P 12 . Dual tubes hold 14 2.75, 12 3 inch or 20 mini shells. Pretty cool, guess I have been good this year. The dropped trigger guard shows it is empty.

Love the Colt and the Potsdam. Friend has got many blackpowder guns we shoot regularly. Great technology in the old days, respect for the engineering with limited technology.Folks have been showing old timers & I was in the safe...
