Just wanted to offer a little cheaper though non-reverseable mod variation I just performed on my 2015 S10 using the low seat setting and stock seat. Rather than spending $15-20 to buy new bumpers, I simply cut the back four bumpers in half using a razor blade. I don't plan to ever-ever go back to the old bumpers and didn't feel like keeping the original ones in my garage for the next 30 years! If anyone attempts this please be careful with the razor, if you have to go to the emergency room this mod will definetley not be cheaper!!
To cut them all the same I found a plastic bottle cap from my recycle bin that the bumpers fit into about 1/2 way then used the edge of the cap as a cutting guide. Rather than using a bumper on the plastic seat tab I used 2 round felt pads with adhesive strips that are used on the bottom of chair legs to protect the floor. They were not quite 1/4" thick and about 1" diameter. I stuck two together and placed them on the plastic tab. With the black plastic piece in the low position the seat fit in perfectly with no up & down movement. It also does not contact the tank. Took me about 30 minutes to cut the bumpers and attach the felt pads. My thanks to the original mod creater, I was really frustrated with the bike as I was always sliding forward and my boys kept getting squeezed, can't wait for the next long trip! ::008::
Still need to solve the self-cancelling turn-signals problem. I looked at the device on Amazon above and it says it only works for bikes with switches on both sides of the handlebars, not with the single switch on the Tenere. :-[
