Hi Fellow S10 owners
Well its about time i met up with some fellow s10 owners I have had this bike since 12 and hardly ever seen another one on my travels!! so it will be good to catch up in spring, I am in hertfordshire so what time are you expecting to meet up in derbyshire on the 9th? I may even come up and make a weekend of it if its an early start, anyway look forward to seeing you all

Well I'll be larking about up there early morning long as there's no late season ice. There was last time we did a meet. ??? Still, 12 did turn up like I said before. Could be more this time...

Great to see new interest let's keep this thread up there near the top ,the more we post the more interest we'll generate.
So from the recent comments most seem to agree on the 9th April.
SO THATS IT SET 9thAPRIL IT IS
Next what time do we think best to meet, Our group will be meeting somewhere around Norwich so roughly 3 to 3 1/2 hours steady ride could make it to CMC for 10 10.30 with an early start.
Also can we have ideas from the S10 owners in the peaks for a short ride round some good local roads, say we plan to leave CMC 45 min after the allotted arrival time keep the ride route down to an hour or just over allowing us to finish at a suitable lunch stop (my vote would be Matlock Bath for lunch plenty of fast food options) those with a long ride home will probably look to get back on the road around 2.30 3 pm.
Any one intending stopping over for the Saturday night ?
As with previous sujestions all input/personal preferences and ideas welcome , let's hear what you all think.

Yep the 9th is good for me, not sure on staying over yet as unsure about work. April is a busy month for me but im defo having the 9th off.

10.30 is good...factor in time for a toasted tea cake and a cuppa, and a look around the bikes before we head off....not an expert on the area but do know a little cut through towards Matlock...pretty twisty and past Ogston Reservoir

To be fair if there if enough turn up you'll probs need a bit of time to meet n greet, paw over each others bike n walk round the shop bikes, gear, cafe etc. As for where to ride after, I think the Ferret knows his way round this neck of the woods... Ferret where art thou? All else fails I know some back roads from CMC to Matlock which I enjoy, but not overly fond of leading. Lemming more my style but if I must...

I am local..ie Staffordshire ....and know a few roads to Matlock.

Scouse - CMC is on the A61 a half mile north of Clay Cross near Chesterfield. You'll probably get there via Macclesfield/Cat&Fiddle.
Tenbob - I'll try and turn up and provide a route backup, I'm not a fan of Matlock but I'm not a party pooper. I can't be definite cos I'm suffering with a thumb that can't cope long in gloves. Might be sorted by then.
