Welcome to the neighborhood. That's going to be quite a change from Folson, Cal.


We're going to to need a separate (?) get together for the WR250 crowd. Who knows, we may even allow guys with those DRs and other bikes.

Depending on whether anyone else wants me to haul their bike out/back for them will determine how many of my own bikes I bring. My WR and S10.....maybe my Moto Guzzi as well.....the wife's bike if she decides what she wants by then.......my daughter's Oset trials bike.....all of them.....we shall see.

Bought my '14 from Romney this year. I'll likely trek down from Buffalo. Anyone up my way want to ride along PM me. I do have a DRZ too, dirt riding too? Could be persuaded to trailer. I'd have room for a Tenere and a dual sport if so.

Thursday, Friday and Monday vacation requested and approved today. Only 900 miles so may not need Monday, and may leave after work on Wednesday. Any other Iowans going? Loved the paved roads down there last year on the cruiser, now I want to check out some dirt.

Looking at the list of S10 dignitaries that are considering attending, this is shaping up to be a hell of an event. I have a feeling that list of names might just get trikepilot to blow off a few of his medical school exams to attend. It could possibly kill him to know such a gathering happened in his backyard and he didn't attend.

DD - I am "in" tentatively at this point. Gimme a month or two to get into the Spring semester and I can better gauge what my availability is going to shape into. Certainly want to make the event - especially since the Seneca Rocks area was my playground for so many years.

Might be bringing a buddy with me who just scored a sweet 99 DR350SE with all the farkles off ADVrider.

Ha Ha I am freeeeee..............

My buddy Grip is making this a short trip, kinda like the bus. Snake you going to make it a long one? I am looking at putting a 5 dayer up there ride for 2 them back in 4 or 5. Looking at parts of the KAT (ADV) to make the trip. At this point I am taking applications for tag alongs.

So what do you say Bruce? This may be my big 10 day trip of the year.

Hmmmmm. I never really know any DETAILS this far in advance. I'm a horrible "planner". Kinda freaks me out, trying to get things too structured.

Might know a little more as the date closes in.

I can say this though; it can vary all the way from a last minute jump on and ride hard to get there for a couple of days of fun.......OR it could merely be a couple of days riding squeezed into a 30 day tromp across America with my Tear Drop camper (Best Western on Wheels)

Either way, I'm gonna enjoy hanging with you crazy fools for a few days.

Details are overrated. This event is the one and only time of the year that I need to care about details. Otherwise, I'm much happier just showing up and letting things unfold however they happen.

Snake, with you coming I suspect we'll get an additional handful of guys who might not have shown up without you. You're kinda like the Tiger Woods of the Tenere world.
