Hi all, I had the chance to stop at Romney today to drop off my Tenere and talk to Kevin (owner). He told me how the school was very pleased to have the opportunity to purchase shoes for the kids. Apparently it was common for them to keep the some of the kids from participating in sporting events because their shoes were in such disrepair that it would be unsafe. They were really excited that our donation allowed them to address the situation.

He also mentioned we will expect to have closer contact with the school during the event in the future. Those details are not worked out yet, but will be for next year.

Once again, all of us coming together made a difference. Great job everyone. Looking forward to next year already.

Got a receipt and nice Thank You letter from them DD. It's a nice story all around. The whole ADVriding world (machines & folks) is a good thing.

I've received numerous reports of letters going to the people who made out a check directly to the school. I also received a nice letter from them with a receipt for the check.

I agree, it is a good thing. It is an honor to be counted among the ranks of the adventure riding community.

fyi - I was out at Romney yesterday and we discussed the event for next year. The Camp N Ride has always been the first weekend in May, but that wasn't as clear cut for 2016 since May 1st falls on a Sunday. To avoid any conflicts with Mother's Day, the event will be April 29 - May 1.

Too early to put out any other information at this point, but did want to mention the date for those who need to plan work schedule far in advance.

Yes, yes we are. Last weekend I sent the link to the 2014 video to the host of a podcast. It gave me another chance to appreciate your excellent narration. We do count on you.
