I bought this '11 GSXR1000 about 3 weeks ago. It's a beast! I quickly got rid of the dual exhaust that weighed a ton. Replaced it with a very loud but light M4 GP exhaust.

I like my Super Sherpa a lot. It’s rugged as all get up, does 80mph (after a regear) and averages 65mpg. Last December I did a 750 mile solo tour to South Florida and through the Florida Everglades with mine, but I had to stop for gas a few more time than you would have with that tank. :)

you are right about this little bike - I went the other direction with gearing and am twisting the right grip off the bars at 65mph, but it will crawl anything and with D606 tires it has traction to spare... ::008::

Had a XT660R last year for a 15,000 mile jaunt; fabulous bike, sold it to get the Super 10.
Got ot get rid of all the stuff I bought for it sometime.

New to the stable. 690R also have a set of motard wheels for it.
I'm toying with the idea of a new Duke 690 or the 690SM. How much fun is this machine? I'de probably be selling my Street Triple to get it.

In addition to the Super Ten, I have a Triumph Thunderbird (1600cc parallel twin cruiser). Fun for leisurely rides around town and just . . . well, cruisin'..

The two bikes share the garage, while the cage -- a Honda Civic Hybrid, because I'm a good environmentalist Northern Californian -- sits unprotected in the driveway . . .

Something about a KLX makes us ole folks feel young. :) 57 and I don't want to grow up either.
