Can you put up a picture of that CZ 125, That has to be rare. I race against a 125 Maico once and a Cagiva 125 but don't recall any CZ's

Here's my 125 CZ...

Hope that helps!

That is a sweet bike. I just sold a Monark 125 on EBay I never would have gotten around to restoring it.
I still have a Montesa 250 [1974] in parts, around here.

Didn't think about those kind of bikes. Between my wife and I we have five bicycles and we actually ride them. No pics though. Two road bikes, two retro ( pee wee herman type) and I have a mountain bike. I've had a lot of fun on the mountain bike. Been to Moab, Purgatory, Angel Fire, just to list a few.

They're great exercise too! My son and I take our mountain bikes all over the place down here and have a great time.

I traded my '06 FJR for the Super T. This seems to be a trend on this forum.

Two years ago I traded my '05 Multistrada S for my '09 Street Triple R.

and had to sell my Tiger 955 (which I had taken to Prudhoe Alaska and across USA) and XT660 (which I used for a 15,000 mile trip across Maritime Canada and USA this year) - to buy my wonderful SuperTen. Totally worth it. It seems that someone justdesigned the S10 to make me buy one................

Me neither. Some represent really good designs I love, others are bikes of my youth and some are significant design milestones. The Honda RTL250s was the last of the Honda four strokes in Observed Trials and the 2005 4RTwas the first of the rebirth of Honda four strokes. If I could get a 1974 Honda TL125 I would have a first, last, first. Think I need to work on that. Note that my signature lines says "Never too many motorcycles to have, but too many I don't have yet". Lot and lots I lust over and will likely never have but always fun to think about. I have three of them in my office just to be able to look at on a regular basis. One sits in the front window next to the sidewalk.

So a collection yes, a museum no. I just really hate to ever sell something that I like. ::008::

Didn't mean that in a bad way. Collection sounds better....I currently have five bikes and the only thing stopping me from buying more is wallet and garage capacity.

I like the TDM. How does the power compare to the S10?

No offense taken, just use my system of never sell anything and they start to build up ::025::

with it not being restricted in the lower 3 gears it is quite nippy off the mark. It tops out at about 130+mph. I saw just under 120mph (on the clock!) when climbing the mountain mile on the Isle of Man last year. It feels like a real lightweight when stepping off the S10.

I think Yamaha would do well to consider putting a TDM engine in a tenere chassis (??XTZ660 chassis). That would make a cracking off roader

I kind of got that that impression roughly ten years ago on the way to the WSB race in SUGO. I was on a YZF1000R, my friend was on a ZX7. We and some Japanese riders were horsing around on the way. One of the Japanese guys had a TDM, and although we new he couldn't beat us in an all-out top speed contest, we were both duly impressed with the speeds he was reaching. The bike seemed pretty quick as well.

The speed restriction's got to go..as long as my ECU makes it back to me before Spring, I'll be happy ::002:: . I think the TDM could outrun the ST in present state and would give it a serious run for the money regardless..although that's not exactly what the S10 is all about.

I agree regarding an off road machine with the TDM motor. I think that would stomp an F800 if the design was executed properly.
