Update on the pannier build. Mostly done outside of sealing the seams, priming and painting. That will be done after they are fitted to the racks which are next. Trying an friction type positioning hinge instead of a cable stay for the lids. Got some snow here today, Rem would feel right at home. ::003::

These HBs give the bike much more of a sleek sport touring look than an adventure touring look. I like them. Do they offer these in asymetrical sizes? What size are these?

Hepco Becker junior flash cases with SW-motek quick lock rack

Wow, I likey those... well the side profile looking hot, if I do say so myself. Gives it a clean finished look, and something that could be taken into a 5 star hotel without any loss of face even if they'd be covered in a bit of grime. I'm not so keen on the rear asymmetrical look though, however I'm sure mixing up bag sizes would sort that out. Have HB any cliff cuts on those model bags to allow for the muffler and better allowance for a symmetrical look?

I just checked the Capital Cycle site. They have a 30 liter left / 40 liter right combo.

They are 30L you can get a 40l liter and a 30L to so one is wider than the other.

There 38 & 45 Litre in size.

Had them on a couple of months now and no issues what so ever. Waterproof even against the jet wash so really pleased. ::008::

I'm thinking of designing my own northern version of these things and call them Metal Moose. They could be hair covered on the outside, and have small antlers for hanging stuff on. It's still a work in progress. R

Man, I'm all in favor of that. I met a good lookin' lady biker last summer, and asked if I could have a look at her panniers. She whacked me with her helmet. I had a mouth full of gummy bears, and I'm thinking she misunderstood what I said. R ::013:: ::019::

Hi mate,

They do look good, and as there is a special offer at the moment on their web site they are coming in about the same price as the Zega Pro in the UK. Can you let me know the total width of the panniers when fitted please? All part of my research, and would also be useful for the database that is being created on here...

Cheers,

Matt
