Martinh,
How do you like your lights on the crash bars so far?
Did you go with spots or floods?

The lights are 15 deg and they are great. i've been on a super dark road and have just stopped to see how bright they are. It is amazing how much more those LEDs light up from the head light. I like them on the crash bars because it make me look bigger on the road.

Those are nice-n-tight. Did you pull the grab rails?
I have the grab rails still on and used all the spacers, Jessie did a good job with the cases.

I think there is one at Yukon Yamaha. I'm stopping by there this morning. I'll check just before I leave, 8:00 ish this morning. IF nothing is posted by then, I'll try to remember to take my camera in. It may be the blue one (gag puke) with the panniers, but I think it's the BLACK O:) one. R ::013::

Sorry, when I was asked earlier for the price of the "unit", I was thinking of the panniers "unit" .... the mind of an old guy works kinda funny ......

MSRP in Canada was/is 16.5 K for the basic bike. This includes a few little goodies like oil and filter etc. plus three years extended warranty. Yukon Yamaha treated us particularly well I thought by including a few other things, like a free first service. R

That SW-Motech rack sure is crooked. ::002::

Sorry to nick-pick. Otherwise like that set-up, and will probably go the with the Caribou panniers myself.

Yes, it is/was, but that was one of the goodies that Yukon Yamaha provided ... they ate them both, so I don't really know what the cost would be on that. If you are keen to know, I'll ask here and can probably find out what it would have been. It should be the same at any Canadian dealership. R

I don't think you can beat the Caribous for plain old durability and functionality. I almost went with them. Guaranteed for life. Hard to beat. R

True, but I've decided to ignore it. My wife, who can be extremely nit picky about that type of imperfection never noticed until I pointed out to her. So if she didn't notice after hours of following me, then I'm just not going to worry about it.

I like the Caribou cases also, and my racks were off more that. It was a toss up between the Trekkers and those for me.

I am very happy with the Caribou cases. I added the liner and it makes a perfect side case for me.

They went through hours of riding in Tropical Storm Irene and kept everything dry. Don't think I can ask any more than that.
