Is that a Yamaha tank bag? I just ordered one. What prevents it from scratching the tank?cbat said:Last week in Colorado. Tent bag is along the side of the dry bag

Are you going "two up" ? Looks like a lot of waisted space on the back seat.Dirt_Dad said:Experimenting with a setup for our Newfoundland trip.
Not sure this will be the final configuration.
No that was an experiment. We've ditched the idea of lugging all that gear on a 16 day trip for the potential of camping out one or two nights. I've camped 4 nights in the last 26 years, which is 4 nights more than my wife. Army really ruined camping for us. That said, I do think we'll be camping over Labor Day. Go figure. :MikeBear said:Are you going "two up" ? Looks like a lot of waisted space on the back seat.

Now that is a big load!

Uh huh; but you see we had entirely different objectives. You were traveling 10 days and I was 2 hours from home base camping and riding loops. I am s-l-o-w-l-y trying to convince my aging better half (I promise you they are a lot less flexible in every sense of the words once north of a half century) that 2-up camping is fun and I managed to make a good shot at it on that trip. We had several luxury items including food and a cooler. I'm just fine with my packing and the way things went.bloodline said:Jesus.
2 weeks, full camping and cooking gear, 100-40 degrees.
Oh, I appreciate luxury, too.spklbuk said:Uh huh; but you see we had entirely different objectives. You were traveling 10 days and I was 2 hours from home base camping and riding loops.
