This is the set up used in the last 4500 mile trip north. The pelicans are perfect for my style of travel. The cases look worn-in after the first few days of use so the scratches from my crashes and tip overs don't show up. I might mount them a couple inches lower next time.

Here's to more miles. ::014::

The last photo has the K60's and the first two have the EXP's.
So how do them thar pelickins work for ya in the fold on out into a buuuuckit orientation 8) O0

Just spent the weekend down around Leakey camping at Garner SP.

Here it is all packed up. It rained on Saturday and some of the roads were a mud fest.

Is this a single group or what??? None of U take your S.O with U camping. It's a challenge to do two up camping with the WIFE. But way more rewarding than going by myself. Just got my HT luggage and doing the test packing to see where everything as to go. Will take pictures when I get the rear rack built and m/c packed up.

Glad to see you gearing up for camping. I am ready for a campfire.

Headed to Death Valley.

Spare helmet in the top case as I wore my street helmet down as it has all my communication set up in it. Arai XD in the top case. All the clothes I needed for a week plus, toiletries, tools, layered clothing, Gerbing, spare gloves, etc. all fit with a bunch of room leftover!!!!!

REI Half Dome tent, 20 degree REI sleeping bag in waterproof compression sack, Kermit chair, and REI air bed roll (R5.6) are on rack behind my seat.

I have enough space to pack for Armageddon....unless I bring my wife in which case I get one pair of extra undies and that's it! ::013::

I've been getting things put together for a trip to the desert next month. All the stuff for a fairly comfortable adventure. Less food and water

From left to right
Moss "Outland" 4 season 1 man tent
Thermarest "Prolite Plus" mattress
Mountain Hardware "Phantom 32L" bag
Alite "Monarch" chair
Velbon Tripod
First Need water purifier/1 gallon collapsable water bag
2L Insulated Camelback
3 Stuff sacks Extra Clothing
Gortex Shell / Pants
MSR "Reactor" stove / Fuel
Thermal Mug
Tool Roll
Emergency Blanket/Kit

I don't think I'm to overloaded and have paired it down to the basics.

I asked my wife if she had any interest at all in riding with me if I bought a motorcycle. She said she would never get on it ever. I bought one the next day 8)

Nice bike. Questions...what type of wind deflector do you have mounted to the stock screen? Also type of crash bars?

Those TT DrySpec bags look the business! Nice setup! I've been contemplating that D38 and it looks like it sandwiches in nicely between the Jesse's.

How do like the DrySpec bags, Mellow?
