Re: Final gear oil brand
OK thread revival here. Plus who really wants to read a new oil thread right? I recently sold a boat and have some Quicksilver high performance gear lube left over. 3 new unopened quarts to be exact. This stuff is SAE 90, green and super slimey stuff. It does an incredible job in out board and I/O drives so I got to thinking.... I wonder if it would be suitable for a shaft drive motorcycle. Any thoughts? Specifications of the lubricant are impressive. I currently use Maxima hypoid with good results but was curious about the marine gear lube.
