That thermometer looks a little delicate nd hard to read from afar but I like the idea. Is this for real or photoshoped?

In the end, the S10 generates a lot of worries. while some worry about the level of oil, others worry about the temperature of it

Never seen one of those to fit the S10. Real common on air cooled bikes like HDs. I used to have one on my '40 Knucklehead.

Is the RR34 the correct one for our bikes. I can't believe you are getting me to spend my money more than twice in the last week!! First the Moto Winch bike lift. Now this!

Take it easy, remember that it is dry sump, you have to see the length of the sensor, but the one who put it says that it's okay

One of those would be interesting to use now and then out of curiosity, but I sure can't think of a Tenere overheating.

And I wouldn't leave it in this engine. Besides the delicate top end exposed to gravel and tip-overs, with the vibration, if that rod separates things could get real ugly real fast.

I do both plugs as you will find it will still drain off another close to a half cup of residual oil...
Never the less this bike is forgiving if you just pop a filter on dump a gallon in after you have removed all the oil and your good to go.

I agree, if the motorcycle does not bring it from the factory (oil temp, and press), it is because the motorcycle does not need it. but there are always curious people who want to know, what is the temperature of the oil and what is the "PRESSURE"

Thought of that awhile back already.
But why?
Always wondered WTH is it there in the first place?
But then this could be a project for someone to relocate the filter somehow..

It ain't rocket science, i worry more about electronics on this bike more than oil.
Once the main wiring harness was replaced with a good one it's been a dream.
Another worry that was resolved was the ACCT, went manual haven't looked back since.
This is one of the best bikes I've ever owned and I've had a few over the years.

I agree that it is not space science. It is rather something as basic as mathematics. if something is changed here, does it affect something there? ... when I do not understand something, I try to use logic, and ask myself, why did the engineers do or not do such a thing? ... what were they thinking about when Did do such a thing? ... for the case of the small oil cooler, it is logical to put it in front, which is where more air receives, but to increase the protection of the engine, it would be logical to cover the oil cooler? ... when I see OEM protections, I see that they leave an air inlet for the small oil cooler. But I see others that do not. It exceeds my logic.

I tried to understand why Ford engineered the two bolt Thermostat cover under the fuel injector housing on my 2003 Ford Ranger 4.0?

Everything is an evolution or designed for more than one machine. It'd be interesting to know what else this engine was designed for or how the adaptation from something else left these features.

Now, THAT makes sense. I never thought of this motor COMING from something else. That would explain putting the oil filter out front as the first thing to hit obstacles being driven over.
