An short report regarding the E-07 Dakars.
They now have just over 6000 km on them which includes a 10 day, 4000km ride through central B.C. backroads.
The back started out with approx 12mm tread depth and the front approx 6.5mm when new. Ran 36F & 40R psi. and didn't air them down for the off pavement sections.
The ride included 1600 km of dirt, gravel, and not so good gravel roads. Tires worked very well, when compared to the last two sets of Heidenau K60, the E-07 rear feels more reassuring in the loose stuff. Front feels very similar to the K60 front.
The rear now shows approx. 9.90 mm tread depth and the front approx. 6mm. Still noise at speed on pavement, but less than the K60. Overall they compare very well to the Heidenau.
I see other reports of them going 20,000km. Will be interesting to see how these ones last as I was getting 15,000 and 18,000km from the last two sets of Heidenaus.
