FYI - You may have been at a Starbucks in the Pike Place Market, but it is not the original Starbucks. That location was one block north and outside of the Market boundary.I’ve been to the original Starbucks in Pikes market. I was underwhelmed by it..

Yamalube semi and Mitas e07.Ha, maybe time to ask what tyres and oil to use?
At that point in history, the U.S. (and elsewhere) were still in the Great Depression. Part of what FDR did was find a balance between fairly strong pro-facist and pro-communist views - that was his mastery with the New Deal. But generally, the U.S. was an isolationist country, other than monkeying around in the Western hemisphere, and maybe the Philippines, though those were all abstractions with much of the populace. It took a direct attack (Pearl Harbor) to get things moving, though I guarantee you the federal government already had plans to enter WWII well before that.Ok one final question then.
In 1940 FDR promised no US boys would be going to war. This was a very popular policy. Only 16% even supported send aid to the Uk.
Would this have been a popular GOP view point or Democrat? Or both?
Why was this? Did the US not see the danger from Hitler?

Currently on Tapatalk also so I cannot view the poll but my guess is half or more of those 9 votes are frequent posters in this thread. LOL LOLIt asks whether to keep this thread open or close it and go back to no politics anywhere?
So far there are 9 for closing and none for keeping it.

You are a foreigner. This is a worldwide forum. We are all citizens of the world. The opinion of foreigners doesn't mean near as much as the opinion citizens. Others opinion of our ammendments don't mean anything to me and a lot of others.
I agree completely. What actions happen in the US affect you directly and I hope that this chapter brings you all together to forge a better future. It affects us outsiders due to the US presence on the worldwide stage. The opinion of foreigners doesn't mean near as much as the opinion citizens.
