I am thinking about getting up early to ride over to the space coast & meet up with cadcamkenny to accept his offer for the Merritt Island nature tour. He posted this:

Well...
I went on the mission today. Did about 350 miles.
Cut through the southern part of Ocala NF.

The Tenere in sand trails has no business being in them.
The main FS roads being hard pack with some soft spots is ok, roosting through gears. I out ran the rain all day. Had lunch in Tavares at Al's.

Was good to go on a adventure. I'll post a few pics 2morrow. I'm beat!

Cotton here in Orange Park FL (south of Jacksonville) bought my Tenere 2 months ago- now have 4,000 miles on it. Sold my Vstrom 1000 and GS1200 for the Yamaha. Also have a WR250R, 1976 Hodaka Wombat ( I bought new in 76) and a few other vintage bikes and scooters. Love the Tenere- really solid in bad weather and on the highway.
